Dr. Tatia Khachidze


Founder – International Society for Clinical and Academic Hepatology (ISCAH)


Dr. Tatia Khachidze is a gastroenterologist, hepatology researcher, and academic educator based in Tbilisi, Georgia. She is the Founder of the International Society for Clinical and Academic Hepatology (ISCAH), a global, independent, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing excellence in liver health through science, education, and clinical practice.


She is currently a PhD candidate at Tbilisi State Medical University, where her research focuses on metabolic liver disease. Dr. Khachidze completed her medical education and gastroenterology residency at Tbilisi State Medical University, with additional clinical training at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.


In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Khachidze is actively involved in medical education and research, serving as a lecturer at multiple universities and contributing to peer-reviewed publications and international scientific conferences. Through ISCAH, she aims to promote evidence-based medicine, foster international collaboration, and reduce the global burden of liver disease.
